Licensed Spa Coordinator

About the role

Equinox is looking for an energetic, creative and enthusiastic Licensed Spa Coordinator to join its team at the Woodland Hills club. The role helps ensure a memorable experience for spa guests, from greeting them on arrival to giving personal guest service. It suits someone wanting to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing organization.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the facilities, give them an orientation tour and explain the spa amenities, treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation
• Answer guests' questions and handle their concerns professionally and courteously
• Interview, hire and coach staff members
• Carry out outreach marketing for the spa and actively promote treatments, services, sessions, retail and programming promotions
• Manage daily operations, including inventory, daily goals and budgets
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment by regularly monitoring the locker and facility areas

Required profile

• Valid Massage Therapy or Esthetics license
• 2 years of experience leading a team to financial success
• Excellent customer service skills, friendly and outgoing personality, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and money-handling skills
• Excellent communication, listening and computer skills; must be a team player
• Legal right to work in the United States
