About the role
The Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support its work in New York. This internship offers exposure to international legal analysis and United Nations processes within the counter‑terrorism arena.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing international, regional, and domestic legal instruments.
- Support the preparation of documents for meetings with Member States' Permanent Missions to the United Nations in New York.
- Help organize CTED meetings and seminars.
- Monitor relevant Security Council meetings and produce concise briefing notes.
Required profile
- Enrolled in or completed a graduate degree in law (LLB, JD, LLM, PhD), international affairs, or political science.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in French is desirable.
