About the role

The Leasing Professional at The Sommery community is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through effective marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies. You will guide prospective residents through the leasing journey, ensure smooth move‑ins, and support existing residents throughout their lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Coordinate move‑in packages, ensure apartments are move‑in ready, and oversee the resident move‑in process.
• Manage lease renewals and resident retention initiatives to meet occupancy goals.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and update resident information in the property management system.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple leasing tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, resident‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of leasing procedures, application processing, and lease documentation.
