Leasing Professional – The Ballast on Salem

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead the marketing, leasing and renewal efforts for The Ballast on Salem, a 295‑unit garden‑style community in Apex, NC. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications and move‑in, while also ensuring current residents receive high‑quality service and lease renewal support.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours and show available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and coordinate resident onboarding.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and update the property management system.
• Drive occupancy and revenue goals through proactive leasing and renewal strategies.
• Provide ongoing resident satisfaction support throughout the lease term.
• Work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekend coverage as needed.
