About the role

This position coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. It involves handling all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units and leasing corridors to company standards, coordinating with maintenance as needed.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and lease signing.
• Support lease renewal efforts by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents before move‑out dates, and securing signed renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, resolve issues, and document requests for appropriate follow‑up.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of leasing or property‑management experience.
• Strong customer‑service and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license (required to operate a golf cart on the property).
• All required state and local licenses or certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property‑management software.
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
