Leasing Professional – Embankment & Revetment House

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Embankment House and Revetment House communities in Jersey City. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention targets while delivering a high‑quality leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness, and oversee smooth resident move‑ins.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospects and residents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet occupancy and revenue goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property‑management software.
• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
