Leasing Manager – 3 Journal Square

About the role

The Leasing Manager will lead all leasing, marketing and sales activities for the 3 Journal Square community in Jersey City. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for driving revenue, occupancy and resident retention through strategic advertising, pricing and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, print and internet advertising to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
• Set rent pricing, concessions and leasing incentives based on market and competitor analysis.
• Oversee on‑site traffic, ensure an inventory of ready‑to‑lease apartments, and monitor daily leasing activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance to maintain property standards and enhance unit marketability.
• Generate and track leasing traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents and manage move‑in procedures.
• Produce sales and leasing reports using the company’s property management software.
• Analyze financial, traffic and closing ratio reports to adjust strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing leasing operations in a residential community.
• Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies for real‑estate assets.
• Ability to analyze financial and performance reports to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with prospects, residents and internal teams.
