Leadership Wage Instructor – COAST/TRAIN (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Wage Agency Instructor, under direction, assists in training specialty skilled and semi‑skilled courses within TEEX Workforce Development Programs at the Coastal Bend Occupational Advanced Skills Training (COAST) in Corpus Christi and the RGV Advanced Manufacturing Hub (RAM) in Brownsville. The role leverages adult‑learning theories and varied media to maximize learner success in both online and classroom environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver online, classroom and field‑based instruction for leadership and technical courses.
• Provide technical assistance and support to learners in specialty areas.
• Develop and update curriculum content to meet evolving learner needs.
• Utilize a variety of instructional media to present course material effectively.
• Collaborate with the Leadership team and ITSI customers to design and deliver TEEX leadership courses.
• Maintain records of training activities and assess learner performance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; or an Associate’s degree with two years related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum four years in a leadership role, including experience delivering leadership training.
• At least one year of adult‑education or training experience.
• Residency in one of the specified Texas counties (e.g., Aransas, Bee, Brooks, etc.).
• Valid motor‑vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
