Lead Services Engagement Manager (SEM) - eCOA

About the role

Veeva is looking for a Lead Services Engagement Manager (SEM) for eCOA in Boston, Massachusetts. The SEM sets customers up for success and represents the full value proposition behind a Veeva eCOA implementation, working in close alignment with the Sales, Strategy and Services teams during the scoping and planning phase. Travel is estimated at less than 25%.

Key responsibilities

• Align with services and sales teams to provide implementation proposals and build prospect confidence in delivery
• Develop and lead eCOA service offerings across multiple customer types
• Set client and internal stakeholder expectations with a focus on long-term success
• Develop, own and manage partner vendor relationships for contracting and services operations
• Lead, grow and scale eCOA SEM activities and operations

Required profile

• 5+ years delivering consulting services or selling services for Clinical Data Applications, including eCOA, with a proven track record
• 3+ years scoping and defining project plans, resource models and negotiating Statements of Work for software implementation projects
• Ability to lead complex services contracting independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders
• Familiarity with the Life Sciences industry and ability to work with executive leadership
• Strong negotiation skills, collaborative style, and ability to work under pressure with short or competing timelines

Required skills

• Understanding of clinical trial data capture, including how EDC works with IVRS, safety systems, CTMS and downstream databases, and eCOA
• Nice to have: eCOA industry subject matter expert, experience interpreting clinical protocols, and SaaS/cloud delivery experience
