Lead IT Systems Analyst – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Lead IT Systems Analyst – Finance & Accounting drives strategic optimisation of the company’s financial systems ecosystem, including M3 ERP, Hyperion, EDI, and Esker, ensuring accuracy, compliance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT Finance resource for cross‑functional projects, prioritising and delivering financial system requirements.
• Lead production support for all financial applications, acting as the main point of contact for complex functional issues and coordinating with development teams.
• Manage the finance ticket queue, ensuring timely resolution of defects while adhering to change‑management and audit controls.
• Partner with Finance leadership to design and implement process improvements that boost reporting accuracy and month‑end efficiency.
• Architect and configure M3 ERP to meet complex business requirements and oversee end‑to‑end testing.
• Drive the optimisation and integration of Hyperion and other reporting platforms, defining road‑maps and ensuring architectural alignment.

Required profile

• 8+ years progressive IT systems analysis experience, including at least 5 years focused on ERP and finance/accounting functions.
• Proven experience leading full‑life‑cycle business analysis, from requirements gathering through design, testing and deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with executive leadership on strategic initiatives such as M&A system integration.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Hyperion financial reporting and integration.
• EDI and Esker electronic invoicing solutions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
