Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures that towels and linens are clean, neatly folded, and readily available for members at The Madison Club. This position supports the clubhouse, locker rooms, pool area, and on‑course comfort stations while assisting with general housekeeping duties.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, fold, and distribute towels and linens to designated areas across the property.
• Follow standard operating procedures for golf‑cart safety and uniform grooming.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Assist kitchen staff by keeping the employee lounge stocked and tidy.
• Communicate inventory needs when stock levels are low.
• Greet members courteously using their surnames.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including general housekeeping tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Effective communication with members, guests, and coworkers.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long shifts as needed.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and current car insurance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 lb for extended periods.
