About the role
The Key Account Manager – Transportation Safety will drive sales growth for 3M's reflective sheeting and pavement marking solutions across the United States. You will work closely with customers, internal sales teams, and product experts to deliver tailored safety solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals and objectives for assigned key accounts.
- Develop and execute growth programs to increase 3M’s market share.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision makers.
- Manage pipeline strategy and coordinate with the field sales team.
- Identify client needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a balanced product portfolio to maximize profitability.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to uncover new opportunities.
- Conduct business reviews with stakeholders to set performance targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of outside selling experience.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- MBA preferred.
- Five years of marketing and channel management experience within the Traffic Safety industry.
- Strong financial modeling and negotiation abilities.
