Junior Frontend Engineer (React & TypeScript)

About the role

Horizon Media is seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer to join its growing technology team. You will work on modern React‑based user interfaces, collaborate with senior engineers, and help deliver scalable web applications for our marketing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive front‑end applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Build reusable UI components with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Consume REST APIs via Axios or Fetch, handling JSON data and integrating backend services.
• Implement asynchronous logic using Promises and async/await.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and Agile team ceremonies.
• Use Git for version control, including branching, merging and pull requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with TypeScript and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming patterns and JSON data handling.
