Junior Cybersecurity Analyst (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our fast‑growing team in New York City. This entry‑level, full‑time position provides hands‑on exposure to real client engagements and the chance to earn industry certifications while working under senior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior analysts in delivering cybersecurity and compliance services to business clients.
• Act as a liaison between client needs and internal teams, managing accounts and communications.
• Support projects across cybersecurity, compliance, IT, and business operations.
• Learn and apply frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA under mentorship.
• Participate in overtime as needed to meet client deadlines (average 45 hours/week).

Required profile

• Demonstrated relentless follow‑through and ability to finish tasks.
• Strong written communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous situations and asking insightful questions.
• Intellectual curiosity and enjoyment of learning technical material.

Required skills

• No prior cybersecurity experience required; training on tools, frameworks, and certifications will be provided.
