Job description
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and repair of mechanical equipment safely under general supervision.
- Disassemble, repair, and install mechanical equipment, including motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Analyze mechanical problems, organize maintenance tasks, and develop effective work methods.
- Rebuild and install new or rebuilt assemblies, weld broken parts, and fabricate components.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and parts schematics.
Required profile
- Excellent follow‑up skills with ability to see assignments through to completion.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership.
- Strong attention to detail when measuring and identifying bearings.
Required skills
- Cutting metal with a torch.
- Welding and fabricating metal components.
- Troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Operating grinders, drills, hand tools, and presses.
- Identifying bearings and using metric measurement tools.
- Reading tape measures and interpreting technical diagrams.
What we offer
- Starting pay rate $38.22‑$40.22 per hour with $2.00 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.
- Standard Monday‑Friday shift schedule; overtime available; Sundays off.
