Java & Python Developer – Technology Consultant

About the role

Infosys Financial Services is seeking a Java & Python Developer to join its technology consulting team in Boston. The role focuses on building and enhancing AI‑driven solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, helping them accelerate digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
• Participate in software design discussions and capture design decisions.
• Develop new features and integrate updates into existing Java/Python applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and support production issue resolution.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth software adoption.

Required profile

• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to delivery.
• Proactive attitude toward production support and preventive reliability strategies.
