IT Support Technician

About the role

The IT Support Technician provides first‑line technical assistance to Cumming Group employees across more than 30 U.S. offices. Working from the Miami office, you will resolve hardware, software, network and access issues while ensuring a smooth, secure computing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls and respond to tickets via the Support Desk system.
• Remote into users' computers to install software, troubleshoot, and provide hands‑on assistance.
• Log all actions, follow‑ups and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Use Active Directory and Azure AD to reset passwords, assign permissions and retrieve user information.
• Collaborate with the internal IT team and escalate complex issues to Level II support.
• Work with hardware vendors to diagnose problems and arrange warranty repairs.
• Assist the hardware support team with equipment deployment, inventory, testing and basic repairs.
• Research, evaluate and test new hardware, software and system solutions.
• Participate in IT projects and adhere to knowledge‑base articles and checklists.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Ability to follow technical documentation and apply creative problem‑solving.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
