IT Engineer (MTS)

About the role

ReflectionAI is looking for an IT Engineer who will support employees in the San Francisco office, handling day‑to‑day technology needs and improving underlying systems. The role blends direct user support with automation, security partnership, and office infrastructure reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve employee IT issues on‑site and remotely, covering devices, applications, access, and workplace technology.
• Manage the endpoint lifecycle for a mixed fleet of macOS and Windows devices, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and retirement.
• Administer identity and SaaS platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack, maintaining SSO, provisioning, and access policies.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Serval workflows and custom scripts against APIs.
• Partner with Security to implement device posture controls, phishing‑resistant authentication, and endpoint protection.
• Maintain reliability of conference rooms, AV equipment, and the office network, coordinating with Workplace and external vendors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering or corporate systems administration.
• Strong track record of direct user support for technical and non‑technical staff.
• Hands‑on experience managing macOS devices via MDM and administering identity platforms like Okta.
• Proven ability to script, use APIs, and build workflow automations.
• Good judgment for independent action, escalation, and documentation.
