Internal Auditor – Manufacturing (Americas)

About the role

Sika is seeking an Internal Auditor with manufacturing audit experience to support the Americas region. The role involves planning and executing financial and operational audits in line with the Annual Internal Audit Plan and corporate methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and support processes to identify risks and controls.
• Prepare audit work programs and select appropriate audit methods.
• Conduct field audits (approximately 10 per year) including interviews, walk‑throughs, and sample testing.
• Review auditee action plans, document field work, and debrief audit teams.
• Participate in selective process/system audits at the group level as needed.
• Contribute to the Internal Audit Quality Assurance Program and knowledge management.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to local management.
• Act as Lead Auditor on a rotational basis.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience as an External Auditor with a Big 4 firm.
• 2‑3 years of internal audit experience in a manufacturing environment, covering both financial and operational audits.
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts and models.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel 50‑70 % across the US, Canada, Latin America and occasionally globally.
