About the role
Sarah Jacoby Architect is seeking an Intermediate Designer/Architect to join our New York office. You will work on residential projects throughout NYC, participating in every stage from concept through construction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, construction documents, and detailed drawings for NYC residential projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors, handling meetings and site visits.
- Perform construction observation and assist with Department of Buildings submissions.
- Maintain project files, schedules, and graphic presentations.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in an architecture office, preferably with NYC residential work.
- Architectural degree and legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong organizational, self‑direction, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Required skills
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Suite
- Rhino
- Rendering software

- Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience.
