Interest Rate & FX Product Specialist – Corporate Sales Analyst

About the role

Santander is seeking an Interest Rate / Foreign Exchange Product Specialist to join its Corporate Sales team. The role focuses on structuring, marketing and executing IR/FX trades for corporate and financial sponsor clients across the Corporate & Investment Bank and Commercial Bank divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute FX trades including spot, forwards, NDFs and options.
• Execute interest‑rate trades such as single‑currency swaps, cross‑currency swaps and options.
• Design hedging solutions to help clients manage macro‑market risk.
• Research and synthesize market analysis to provide insightful commentary for clients.
• Offer strategic ideas on best practices for IR/FX hedging.
• Support relationship development with existing clients and prospects to drive revenue and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Investment Bankers and other product areas on new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, legal and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Presentation and public‑speaking abilities.
• Relationship‑management and negotiation capabilities.
• Excellent organizational attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Analytical and problem‑solving aptitude.
• Sales‑oriented, energetic and self‑motivated.
• Relevant certifications such as Series 7, 63, 79 or SIE (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel and Outlook.
