Installation Technician - Access Control & CCTV

About the role

Responsible for successful installation, setup, and configuration of security, surveillance, and access control systems. The role focuses on delivering to company standards every time, following Techmenity’s principles.

Key responsibilities

• On‑site installations of surveillance and access control systems (door access, intercoms, credential readers, electric strikes, and maglocks).
• Pull, terminate, and test low‑voltage cabling.
• Mount devices at cable ends.
• Setup, configure, and program devices.
• Troubleshoot devices and understand network interactions.
• Read and follow plan sets.

Required profile

• Trustworthy, hands‑on individual who prefers field work over desk work.
• Experience on construction sites with ability to climb ladders, use power and hand tools.
• Steady work history (minimum 3 years) with a pleasant disposition and high emotional intelligence.
• Technically inclined and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Industry certifications: CompTIA A+, AVIXA CTS, OSHA 10.
• Access control platforms: Brivo, Verkada, Avigilon, Alta/Openpath, Lenel, Kisi, ButterflyMX.
• Experience with surveillance platforms and IP camera systems.
