Infrastructure Security Engineer

About the role

Serval is building an AI‑native automation platform and needs an Infrastructure Security Lead to define and execute its cloud and platform security strategy. You will own the security posture of AWS environments, Kubernetes clusters, container runtimes, and the production systems that power Serval’s customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate a comprehensive infrastructure security program covering AWS, Kubernetes, container runtimes, networking and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive least‑privilege IAM, secrets and key management, network segmentation and multi‑tenant guardrails at scale.
• Secure the container and orchestration stack, including image provenance, registry controls, runtime sandboxing and Kubernetes hardening.
• Build and mentor a team across cloud security, platform security and vulnerability management, hiring as the platform grows.
• Lead vulnerability management, partnering with engineering to remediate cloud‑config, dependency and supply‑chain exposures.

Required profile

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with deep expertise in cloud and infrastructure security.
• Proven track record building and leading security teams for cloud platforms and production environments.
• Strong software‑engineering instincts, comfortable writing code and creating policy‑as‑code tooling.
• Understanding of modern adversary tactics against cloud and container workloads.
