Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer – Raleigh, NC

About the role

Rise Power Systems is looking for a hands‑on Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes, drive efficiency, and support new product introductions in its Raleigh, NC facility.

Key responsibilities

• Create work instructions, routing, and labor standards.
• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts.
• Support new product launches, including design‑for‑manufacturing, readiness, and prototype builds.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives such as lean, 5S, and kaizen.
• Analyse productivity, cycle time, and cost performance.
• Partner with Quality to resolve production issues.
• Define tooling, equipment, and process requirements while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing/industrial engineering experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools (5S, VSM, kaizen).
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Epicor.
• Strong process documentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Preferred: electrical/electromechanical manufacturing background and Lean Six Sigma certification.
