Impact Data Analytics Intern

About the role

VisionFund’s Strategy Team is looking for a motivated intern to help shape and share its impact strategies, client success stories, and overall results. You will work closely with the Impact, Strategy Realization, and Marketing & Communication sub‑teams to expand the reach of micro‑finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Measure client outcomes through surveys, enhance dashboards, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
• Benchmark performance against industry standards by comparing external financial‑inclusion data with internal operational data.
• Collaborate with the Strategy Realization team to design decision‑support dashboards for senior management.
• Support integration of impact and operational data across impact, strategy, and IT teams.
• Validate survey data to improve accuracy and reliability of micro‑finance institution reporting.
• Research latest trends, evidence, and best practices in financial inclusion to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI (or comparable analytics tools).
• Strong ability to create clear, impactful data visualisations and presentations.
• Experience conducting thorough online research to support analytical work.
• Passion for communicating insights in the poverty‑reduction and micro‑finance sector.
• Demonstrated commitment to World Vision’s mission and values.
