ICT Associate – IT Helpdesk Support (Washington, DC)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an ICT Associate to provide day‑to‑day IT Helpdesk support for its Washington, DC office and associated sub‑offices. The role involves configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting a range of IT systems and services hosted in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line Helpdesk assistance to end‑users, resolving hardware, software and network issues.
• Support routine maintenance and configuration of Windows workstations and servers.
• Manage network services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and WINS.
• Assist with Office 365, Outlook 365, Exchange Online and Intune administration.
• Maintain inventory and support for HP/Compaq, Lenovo, Surface, IBM, Microsoft, Meraki, Cisco and Apple equipment.
• Provide occasional support for website development and administration.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or a related field with at least three years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience with TCP/IP networking, routing, switching and multi‑site Windows Server environments (2016/2019).
• Prior experience in an international humanitarian, non‑governmental or governmental organization is an advantage.
