HVAC Technician – Air Duct Cleaning

About the role

A full-time HVAC technician position in Santa Rosa, California, based at customer locations provided by the company. The role covers heating, ventilation and air conditioning cleaning services, with a focus on maintaining a high standard of customer service and achieving additional sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional service to customers, including polite, courteous and respectful behaviour.
• Complete customer service schedules on time and keep internal staff informed of the daily schedule.
• Determine customer requirements and access their heating and air conditioning units safely; cut a hole in the plenum if necessary while wearing safety equipment.
• Maneuver the cleaning unit from the van into the customer's home and provide professional air duct cleaning with company-provided equipment (cleaning unit, compressor unit, high-pressure lines).
• Clean and replace registers, repairing holes in the plenum if needed, and clean up work areas.
• Sell add-on services and products such as carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Drive the company vehicle safely, maintain it according to policy, and keep a good driving record.
• Complete route sheets, daily check-in and check-out, and attend training meetings as required.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent; industry and outside sales experience are helpful but not necessary.
• Self-motivated individual with a good driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier.
• Ability to recognize and fix problems, basic math skills, and ability to handle equipment weighing about 100 pounds.
• Paid training offered; no experience needed.
