HR Intern – Gain Experience in Human Resources

About the role

Lockwood is seeking an HR Intern! This is a great opportunity for college rising juniors interested in gaining experience in the Human Resources field. The position will be based in‑office at our headquarters in Stamford, CT. Lockwood collaborates with clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries to identify effective, holistic, science‑based strategies. Over a third of our staff hold advanced scientific or medical degrees, and most work from where they live. Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding processes for new hires.
• Assist with training program coordination.
• Participate in recruiting activities.
• Help prepare performance reviews and peer reviews.
• Maintain and update HRIS systems.
• Contribute to process development initiatives.
• Engage in committee projects.
• Assist the HR team on various special projects.

Required profile

• Current college junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
