Hospitality Interior Designer

About the role

Woolpert is hiring an Interior Designer to join its Interiors Discipline supporting a dynamic Hospitality practice. The role will design, plan, and deliver distinctive hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, lounges, clubs, and other guest‑focused spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, space plans, material palettes, custom furnishings, and high‑quality visualizations aligned with client brand and operational goals.
• Produce coordinated design documentation and collaborate with architects, project managers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and fabricators.
• Lead technical aspects of projects from concept through construction administration, procurement coordination, and close‑out.
• Prepare client presentations, finish and furniture specifications, review submittals and shop drawings, and conduct site observations.
• Mentor junior interior designers, guiding design development, technical execution, and presentation skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture or interior design (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Advanced proficiency with design and modeling software such as Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proven leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience managing complex project components.
• NCIDQ certification (or interest in obtaining additional specialty certifications).
