Head of Strategic Finance

About the role

Giga is looking for a Head of Strategic Finance to turn finance into a strategic weapon. You will own the creation of complex financial models, drive capital allocation decisions, and provide clear, data‑driven narratives to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain short‑ and long‑range financial models, annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, and project‑specific models.
• Partner with business leaders to develop bottom‑up budgets, track performance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity analyses to support major capital allocation and investment decisions.
• Translate financial data into concise executive‑ready presentations that drive alignment.
• Design KPI frameworks for real‑time visibility into revenue, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Support fundraising, board reporting, and investor communications with accurate financial narratives.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Executive Leadership, Accounting, Operations, and Legal to ensure plans reflect operational reality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic finance leadership, preferably in high‑growth, technology‑focused environments.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining precision and delivering clear "so what" insights.
• Strong partnership skills with senior executives and the capacity to influence decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to turn messy data into clean, actionable narratives.
