Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior finance leader to head its enterprise‑wide Financial Planning & Analysis function. Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, you will be a strategic partner to the CFO, CEO and Board, translating corporate strategy into actionable financial plans and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the corporate FP&A organization, defining vision, operating model, talent strategy and capabilities for a global, technology‑driven enterprise.
• Oversee long‑range financial planning, annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts and monthly performance management, ensuring rigorous KPIs and dashboards.
• Drive financial transformation by modernising processes, increasing automation, and championing AI‑enabled forecasting and analytics across SAP, Anaplan and OneStream platforms.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience with significant leadership responsibility in FP&A, corporate finance or strategic finance.
• Proven experience leading enterprise‑level planning, budgeting and performance management for a large, complex global organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
