Head of Data

About the role

As Head of Data at Scribe you will lead and grow the Product Analytics and Data Engineering teams, shaping the strategy and roadmap for reporting, data‑powered insights, and experimental design. You will build tools and processes that empower fast, informed decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a high‑performing data team by hiring and developing talent, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and bias to action.
• Define and deliver on Scribe’s data platform, aligning with organizational goals and integrating data initiatives into strategic company efforts.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, growth, marketing, and sales to extract insights from 5M+ users and drive strategic business impact.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to advance data modeling, governance, and team capabilities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience on data teams powering products.
• 4+ years of experience hiring and managing data analysts, engineers, and scientists.
• Strong technical proficiency with the Modern Data Stack (Snowflake, dbt, Sigma, Mixpanel).
• Customer‑mindset, low ego, proactive impact‑driven, outcomes over output.
