Graphic Designer – Vehicle Accessories & Merchandise

About the role

As a Graphic Designer at Tesla, you will create visual assets for vehicle accessories, merchandise, and apparel that reinforce Tesla’s brand across its lifestyle and automotive ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring product concepts to life, from limited‑edition tees to custom car wraps and packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design graphics for accessories, merchandise, apparel, web listings, and marketing materials.
• Lead full‑cycle product campaigns and one‑off items such as limited‑edition apparel and accessory packaging.
• Work closely with sales, engineering, product management, textile specialists, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into production‑ready designs.
• Participate in cross‑functional strategy, timing, and process discussions related to brand launches and visual design principles.
• Collaborate with industrial designers, merchandisers, and other discipline leads.
• Contribute to broader branding or digital assets when needed, leveraging additional skill sets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in visual design, merchandising, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating modern, minimalist design across apparel graphics, product packaging, or accessory design.
• Understanding of product development processes, printing techniques for fabrics, and e‑commerce integration is a plus.

Required skills

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Sketch or Figma.
• Apparel design tools such as CLO or Browzwear (optional).
• 3D modeling and visualization.
• Motion graphics, animation, illustration, textile design, merchandising.
