Grants Assistant (Full‑Time)

About the role
CT Humanities, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, is seeking a full‑time Grants Assistant to support its grants team. You will coordinate meetings, communicate with grantees, and ensure accurate data management in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the general grants inbox, respond to queries, and route requests to the appropriate staff.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with external stakeholders and internal programs staff.
- Assist applicants with logistical questions and maintain applicant accounts in the grants database.
- Process applications, organize digital and paper files, and ensure records are accurate.
- Plan, set up, and break down in‑person committee meetings, including location, catering, and minute‑taking.
Required profile
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized with keen attention to detail.
- Desire to work with diverse communities and organizations.
