Graduate Assistant – Campus Living

About the role

The Graduate Assistant will support the Campus Living department by overseeing the operation of a residential complex and supervising its Resident Assistant staff. This role provides leadership, on‑call emergency support, and contributes to campus life through committee participation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day building operations for a residence hall.
• Supervise and mentor Resident Assistants and other student staff.
• Provide on‑call emergency and crisis response for the campus.
• Participate in interdepartmental committees and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and university policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Regular admission to a University of Arkansas at Little Rock graduate program or good standing with the Graduate School.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week (full‑time) or 10 hours per week (part‑time) with reliable attendance.
• Preferred experience in undergraduate residence life or leadership roles.
