General Manager, Service & Solutions

About the role

The General Manager, Service & Solutions leads KONE's service business in the assigned geography, overseeing operations, repair sales, customer success, talent, safety and financial performance. This senior leader is accountable for delivering exceptional customer outcomes while driving profitable growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own full profit‑and‑loss responsibility for the business.
• Lead annual strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and business reviews.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead all operational functions for safe, efficient service delivery and champion continuous improvement.
• Drive aftermarket and repair sales growth and partner with sales leaders to increase customer value.
• Serve as executive sponsor for strategic customer relationships and lead resolution of critical issues.
• Recruit, develop and retain high‑performing leaders, build succession plans and foster a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a service‑oriented business.
• Proven P&L management, budgeting and performance metric experience.
• Experience leading customer‑facing teams and field operations.
• Demonstrated success delivering revenue growth and profit improvement.
• Preferred: multi‑location leadership, P&L > $20M, union and non‑union workforce experience.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary $179,200 – $235,200 per year.
• Annual bonus target 25% of base salary.
