Fullstack Design Engineer

About the role

Blaxel is seeking a world‑class Founding Design Engineer to own the end‑to‑end product design of its cloud‑computing console. You will explore new UI concepts, translate them into production‑ready code, and iterate rapidly using AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Blaxel Console experience from concept through polished UI to merged pull‑request.
• Leverage AI coding tools to convert designs into a TypeScript/React codebase quickly and accurately.
• Monitor real‑world usage, watch session replays, and analyse data to propose UX improvements.
• Close the product loop by shipping enhancements, measuring impact on activation and usage, and iterating.
• Elevate design quality across the console, onboarding flows, documentation, emails, and marketing site.
• Build foundational assets such as a design system, component library, and scalable interaction patterns.

Required profile

• Designer‑first mindset with exceptional visual taste and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable owning a front‑end codebase; strong fundamentals in TypeScript, React, and CSS.
• Deep fluency with AI tools and a curiosity to use AI as a productivity multiplier.
• Product‑oriented thinking focused on user problems, KPIs, and data‑driven hypotheses.
• Mini‑founder attitude: high ownership, ambition, and comfort with early‑stage startup ambiguity.
