About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator for its West Sacramento service center. The position involves handling freight safely and efficiently on a dock environment, with a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, ensuring safe handling.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Read and interpret shipping manifests.
- Interact with computer displays for tracking.
- Prior forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and able to work quickly.
