Full-Time Forklift Operator – San Antonio

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking reliable full‑time Forklift Operators for its San Antonio service center. You will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, working on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers.
• Handle freight safely, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads.
• Read and follow shipping manifests and computer‑based instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized dock area.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Some LTL (less‑than‑truckload) experience is a plus.
