Full-Time Day Registered Nurse – Med Surg Pediatric Unit

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to work day shifts on the Med‑Surg Pediatric Unit. The RN will deliver compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care under the direction of physicians and in compliance with the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based care to prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and readmissions.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions, monitor patient response, and evaluate outcomes.
• Maintain standard precautions and handle contaminated materials safely.
• Coordinate nursing personnel, patient care quality, and compliance with nursing processes.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing (or Nursing Diploma) and current Arizona RN license.
• Current BLS certification; Basic EKG competency within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of hire for pediatric unit.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience for full‑time weekend/evening shifts, or at least one year in acute care/med‑surg.

Required skills

• Basic electrocardiogram (EKG) competency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (as applicable).
• TNCC, NRP, and Emergency Severity Index (ESI) training where required.
