Full Stack Engineer – Education Labs

About the role

Anthropic is building Education Labs to explore how AI can boost human capability. As a Full Stack Engineer you will combine research insights with product development, creating prototypes and shipping features that help users grow real skill with AI. You will work autonomously, shaping technical direction and collaborating across product, design, and research.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and ship end‑to‑end web features that measure user capability growth rather than engagement metrics.
• Architect front‑end and back‑end components, focusing on motion, polish, and interaction feel.
• Define and propagate technical patterns and standards for the team.
• Partner with product, design, and research teams to embed skill‑development principles into Anthropic’s broader strategy.
• Translate research findings on human‑AI collaboration into production‑ready features.
• Document work through clear writing, demos, and presentations that influence the organization.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping web products.
• Strong product instincts with a design‑sensibility for interaction and motion.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, frontier‑thinking environments.
• Ability to operate as a one‑person technical shop, from prototype to production.
