Full-Stack Developer (Remote, Part-Time)

About the role

Implicit is building a leading AI Knowledge Engine for maintenance and support. We are looking for a part‑time full‑stack developer based in the United States to work remotely with our data science and product teams on the next‑generation AI support platform.

Key responsibilities

• Use modern agentic coding tools (Cursor, Codex, Playwright Agents) to maximise productivity.
• Develop responsive web interfaces with React, Redux, React Query, styled‑modules, SASS, Tailwind and Ant Components.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL and Docker.
• Ensure high‑quality code through Test‑Driven Development with Playwright, Vitest and React Testing Library.
• Collaborate closely with product designers to implement pixel‑perfect UI across browsers.
• Write clean, modular, maintainable code following performance and scalability best practices.
• Optimise web performance via lazy loading, code splitting and asset optimisation.
• Debug, troubleshoot and improve front‑end reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay current with AI and front‑end development trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and backend development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with test frameworks such as Playwright and Vitest.
• Solid knowledge of Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab).
• Ability to translate designs into high‑quality, pixel‑perfect interfaces.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
