About the role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our Forest Hills office. The role provides exceptional customer service, manages the front‑desk operations, and serves as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and mail.
Key responsibilities
- Greet, welcome, and direct visitors while managing the therapy appointment calendar.
- Handle a high volume of phone calls and route them to the appropriate parties.
- Distribute incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries to the correct departments.
- Stamp outgoing mail and perform daily drop‑offs at the post office.
- Process copies, daily mailings, and maintain electronic filing systems.
- Organize and distribute testing materials and keep the lobby area clean and orderly.
- Communicate office‑related issues to the Office Manager for timely resolution.
- Maintain front‑desk daily logs and cover phone duties on designated holidays and early dismissal days.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (must).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent customer‑service skills with a friendly, positive communication style.
- Strong multitasking ability and at least one year of prior office experience.
- Team‑player, detail‑oriented, and goal‑driven.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
