Founding iOS Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior iOS engineer to own and evolve Sekai’s iOS application, delivering a fast, polished, AI‑native consumer experience. The role requires deep iOS expertise, a strong sense of product quality, and the ability to move quickly in a startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve the iOS app experience, quality, and release velocity.
• Build and ship consumer‑facing iOS features with emphasis on speed, polish, and reliability.
• Introduce modern iOS best practices and stay current with the latest Apple platform updates.
• Collaborate across native iOS, hybrid mobile, and web‑based components when needed.
• Partner closely with product, design, backend, and mobile teams to turn ideas into shipped features rapidly.
• Leverage AI development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, refactoring, and product iteration.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience building and shipping iOS applications.
• Deep familiarity with Swift, the iOS SDK, and modern iOS development practices.
• Proven track record delivering consumer mobile apps with high standards for UX, performance, and reliability.
• Experience owning projects end‑to‑end in a startup or fast‑moving product environment.
• AI‑native mindset: actively using AI tools to increase development speed and productivity.
• Strong product sense and willingness to work closely with design and product teams.
