Founding Engineer

About the role

Talentpluto is building an autonomous recruiting platform powered by large language models, voice AI, and workflow automation. As a Founding Engineer you will shape the technical direction from day one, delivering end‑to‑end features and establishing the engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship full‑stack features, from data models and APIs to polished user interfaces.
• Collaborate directly with founders and early customers to translate vague requirements into concrete solutions.
• Select core tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns for the platform.
• Set up and maintain infrastructure foundations, including CI/CD pipelines, observability, testing, security, and performance baselines.
• Define engineering best practices such as code review norms, testing standards, and release processes.
• Build pipeline‑management UIs, multi‑tenant systems, and integrations with payments and external services.
• Help interview, hire, and onboard future engineers and contractors.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and contribute to internal tooling and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping real products end‑to‑end in a startup or fast‑moving small team.
• Comfortable working across the stack (frontend, backend, databases, occasional mobile work).
• Enjoys owning problems rather than isolated tickets and cares deeply about user outcomes.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments and iterates directly with founders and users.
• Values clean, pragmatic engineering: tests, clear abstractions, and simple designs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non‑engineers.
