Financial Design Consultant (Remote)

About the role

Kelly is seeking a Financial Design Consultant to lead the design, testing and implementation of invoicing solutions for our clients across the United States. This fully remote, full‑time position blends finance expertise with system‑design skills to ensure accurate, compliant billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test and roll out invoicing solutions within client environments and Kelly’s financial shared services.
• Gather and analyse information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and translate high‑level requests into detailed functional specifications.
• Produce Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Use Cases and Interface designs for billing and AR systems.
• Act as the liaison between customers, software development teams and internal finance services.
• Develop requirement specifications using standard templates and natural‑language documentation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with billing or accounts‑receivable processes.
• Technical and functional knowledge of billing systems and AR back‑office platforms.
• Proven ability to create step‑by‑step technical work instructions and operational documentation.
• Experience auditing and reconciling financial discrepancies, including tax compliance.
• Familiarity with invoice element mapping on Mainframe systems.
• Preferred experience configuring PeopleSoft or Workday and working with VMS or ATS/CRM platforms.
