Financial Analyst – Retail Expenses (North America)

About the role

Gucci is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its North American Finance team. The analyst will ensure accurate financial reporting, expense allocation, and forecasting for the retail network, supporting senior management and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Review month‑end accruals and reclassifications for operating expenses, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Partner with accounting/R2R to validate entries and align with financial guidelines.
• Update monthly financial reporting packages, perform variance analysis, and provide insights to budget holders.
• Guide budget owners on spend management, monitor cost trends, and approve invoices with correct coding.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing data and documentation.
• Develop and maintain projection models for retail expenses and related balance‑sheet accounts.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting cycles for store‑related costs.
• Deliver analytical support to cost‑center owners and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or cost management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
