About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to join its Student Affairs team. In this role you will guide students through the financial aid process, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations while delivering high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Administer institutional, state, federal, and private financial aid programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Interpret and apply financial aid policies, laws, and regulations to individual cases.
- Provide counseling and support to students, prospective students, parents, and campus staff regarding aid options and eligibility.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Collaborate with campus departments to coordinate scholarship and grant initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
