About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Finance Logistics Analyst to support financial close, reporting, and variance analysis for its Austin operations. The role combines finance expertise with logistics insight to help drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct analysis on standard variance activity from recurring transactions.
• Support consolidation and reporting for financial close, quarterly business reviews, and annual operating plans.
• Perform activities and analysis to complete close, flash, or commit cycles with oversight on recurring tasks.
• Assist management with ad‑hoc reports and provide explanations for standard analyses.
• Support development of top‑level models for sizing operations and strategic discussions.
• Maintain local and regional reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
