Finance Controller – Cheyenne Site

About the role

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Finance Controller to serve as the primary finance business partner for its Cheyenne, WY site. You will support plant operations, supply chain, and logistics functions while providing financial insight that drives strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver insightful financial reporting, analysis, and guidance for strategy development.
• Optimize the site production mix and identify risks and opportunities.
• Maintain a strong internal control framework and ensure transparency across Nitrogen operations.
• Drive forecast accuracy for operations, inventory, and capital expenditures.
• Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan development, and scenario planning.
• Validate CAPEX projects against risk, IRR, NPV, and payback thresholds.
• Partner with plant management to influence results through data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical ability and self‑starter attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a matrix organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Knowledge of BW Analysis functionality.
• Budgeting and forecasting modeling tools.
